At the Medical Center of Elberton, we are your hometown physicians.
We treat patients from newborns to geriatrics. And we are currently taking new patients.
For our patients, we perform yearly physicals, sports physicals, treadmill and stress tests, EKGs, Holter monitor tests, gynecology services, well child physicals and immunizations, and other services. We administer allergy shots and prescribe contraceptives.
We also perform minor surgery (wart removal, toenail removal, mole removal, abscesses), vasectomies, IUD insertions, colposcopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, and bone dexa/density scans.
We have x-ray facilities and are currently implementing digital radiology. We have our own in-house labs for testing, as well as a LabCorp branch located in our office.
For businesses, we have a full-service Workers Compensation practice (Elbert Industrial Medicine). Elbert Industrial Medicine provides drug screens (urine and hair samples), breath alcohol testing, DOT physicals, vision and hearing screening. We have an in-house Medical Review Officer (MRO), and we will file your workers compensation claims. We are currently accepting new companies.
